Cost was $236.00 and it was an easy install. Took about 35 mins or so. I forgot to do a "pre-install" pic but heres what i got.

The truck definately seems to breath a bit easier, and the noise increase is minimal unless you get on it. If you go WOT then it gets loud, moreso then when stock, but how often do you ever need to floor it.

Just a random question, but when did Caddy change the logo on the engine cover. Mine has a Caddillac Logo where as yours has the Vortec 6000 logo.

The intake looks good. Is there a noticeable difference in power, and in gas mileage?

    Rolex:
You can definately notice that it has a bit more "get up and go" when you get on it, albeit a bit louder too. As far as gas mileage goes, I think that it improved, but i really havent put enough miles through it yet to determine. I will let you know though in a few more days.

i want to buy a used corvette to drive most everyday in the summer, but in order to do that i need to save my money. and by saving my money, i can't drop money into the escalade. so i don't know what i want to do. i get pulled in both directions. i just need more money

What made you decide on the fipk from K&N, and not go with the Air Raid system instead? Just curious
