03 Escalade possible electrical problem

Car has 50K on it - just changed batteries in both key fobs and cleaned contacts. Dealer could not get fobs reprogrammed, said it would be $299 to diagnose. I have had intermitant interior dash and radio interuption, and sirius stopped working (subscription is paid). Any ideas here on where to start, or do I bite the $300+ bullet? If you are Electrical savvy I would say start with the FSM and follow the schematics or problem shooting graphs that are supplied. Spark chasing is somtimes left best for someone familliar with trends and problimatic areas.
