I was thinking of lowering my 02 ext but I definatly dont want to run into any warranty issues especially with the air ride system. I know these systems can cost a fortune to repair. Any ideas on ride quality with a drop. I want to keep the ride quality as close to stock as possible, but I want to lower it enough to make my 22's look like, well 22's. The truck just makes 22's look like 18's or something. People are always like those are 22's. I dont want to go bigger on the rims but I need to get rid of the huge gap. Anyone have any suggestions for a way to do this and not run into warranty issues. If so what is a good drop kit and how much should I expect to spend?
same issues i'm thinking about. i wish cadillac had made the rear gap about one inch smaller. you can't go much bigger on the wheels or you rub, and it doesn't matter who big you go, you can't fill the top of the wheel gap. but i don't think i want to lower my truck, because i still want to have stock ride quality.
no......not yet. i'm looking at 2 sets of 22s. just can't convince myself to make the purchase. it's a lot of money i don't really have to spend on wheels. i really want them though, so i'll probably end up with some. just hoping someone will be able to offer me some real cheap.
I have 22's on my 04 escalade and its lowered 2/3 using the Mcgaughy's lowering kit. The ride is very much like stock. Also, handling is much better in cornering. As for warranty, My dealer said it should be no problem. I guess it just depends on who takes care of your car when you take it in for service. Lucky for me, my best man works at Cadillac.
