    Super Swamper!!!

I am really considering the idea of getting some sort of Super Swamper/very nobby tires for the winter seasons. I am def taking the 22's off this winter, but I have no idea about the aggressive nobby tires. I think i want just a black steel wheel with some big ol' tires. Does anyone have some "know-how" in this area? I dont want to raise my truck, but i dont know what size wheels and tires will fit.

Any input would be awesome.....does anyone have pictures of their truck with these kind of tires?

I have had a lot of off road tires, I spend winters in upstate NY snowmobiling where they get snow by the foot, but I need a tire to get back and forth that will not give you headache from the tire noise. I have had BFG All Terrain, Mud Terrain (very aggressive) Geolandar's, Goodyear TD's, and what I have now is the best for what I use my truck for, that is through deep snow, some sand and mud ( I buy large tracks of land for developing and drive through mud at these sites) is Bridgestone Revo's in the stock 265/70/17 size. Great snow traction, great mud traction, great in the rain and do not make much more road noise than the stock Goodyears.

Thanks. I was thinking about putting these on some aftermarket wheels too. When i said stock, i meant stock height. I was thinking of like a 15 inch wheel with some big tires.

I was into off roading a while back but haven't really kept up with it,
What about getting some off road tire for the stock wheels? The now offer tires for bigger wheels.

Also I heard good things about the Toyo open country!!!

    Re: Super Swamper!!!

A few reasons... my stock wheels are also chrome which i dont wanna mess up with the salt on the roads, and becuase i want a bigger tire then what would fit on the 17inch. If i cant have my 22's that stand out, i want some big big tires.....

Those tires would give you a very rough ride. If you keep you chrome wheels waxed they will keep looking new.
