EXT Sub Box....

I was wondering if anyone with any audio experience would be able to help me out.. I am looking at some custom sub enclosures for my EXT... i am going with a midgate enclosure and was wondering if anyone could tell me if sealed or ported is better? i mean i am sure that either way will be alot better then factory subwoofer but i was checking them boxes out and some are ported and some sealed.. not sure what the big difference was..

Ported is better if you like rap more. It's louder and deeper but not as tight as a sealed.
