Hello! Newbie inside!!!

Remove this ad
Hey guys (and girls), I am new to the site and a newbie to Caddys. Not new to web forums although I still don't get internet humor??? Just bought an '05 EXT with everything but the rear entertainment system. Already tried to play a movie through the nav system...that didn't work! I have spent the better part of this week checking out the site for info and have found a few answers. Sure I will still have plenty of questions for you guys. Just wanted to say "hi", introduce myself and show off just a couple of pictures. Here is the new ride:

[IMG][/IMG]
Came with the grill, the rest is completely stock.
[IMG][/IMG]

And here is where I am coming from: '98 Ram Air Formula (still for sale)
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
450 hp, runs low 12's in the 1/4. Intake, p & p heads, Kooks headers, Corsa exhaust, 3k stall in a built 4L60E.
[IMG][/IMG]

AND this: '05 Yami R1 (sold) Lots of CF and red accents.

Re: Hello! Newbie inside!!!

Thanks guys! I sure will miss those toys, but finishing grad school means having to finally grow up I guess. Look forward to getting to know you all.

And I am open to suggestions on personalizing the EXT...

Re: Hello! Newbie inside!!!

Turbo busa is sick for sure but tell that is all for show!!! Seriously...how often you really need to go 200+ mph??? But I guess there isn't much difference in the 186 mph I could do on the R1 and 200+.

I will never, well I never say never, go 200 on a bike, have been over 200 twice while living in Switzerland with my boss going to Germany, but that was a car. Without tune it pulled 252 rwhp and it was pretty rich, gets tuned tomorrow, of course my Ski-Doo 800 has 193 hp, my wife did 141 on radar on the lake 3 weeks ago, 4 mph faster than me, of course when you weigh less than 100 lbs that helps.

Re: Hello! Newbie inside!!!

I've done 150 in my formula and only a bit more on the R1, maybe into the 160s. There is no reason one needs to go that fast...unless you happen to be on the Autobaun. Or 140 on a Ski-Doo!!!
