Make sure that you have the overhead consol controls in the front are set aux if you are trying to use the rear controls. Other wise use the front to set the temp and blower. |

I have this same issue with my '00 Esky...are we sure there is a rear HEATER...a buddy that has a Suburban and a Tahoe both with rear air conditioning told me...it's only air...not heat...this could be the answer then...thought he was pulling my leg...

I have the same problem, my 2nd and 3rd row used to get heat and then all of a sudden I tried to use it once and all that came out was cold air. |

I don't have a clue as to how or why it started working again but believe or not it started immediately after I put in a new battery. I don't know if that had anything to do with it but it didn't work for almost an entire year then it worked the same day the battery was replaced.
I'm wondering if the rear heat is electric and maybe there wasn't enough juice to run the heater? |

Obviously, there is rear air and HEAT. Anyway, I had a similar situation when I purchased my truck in the winter. IT WAS COLD AIR ONLY. Took it back to dealer and they told me it was a relay.
Someone else suggested here about a battery disconnect. That seems to set and reset alot of issues. Wonder if its a good idea to do that once in a while. |

heres what the heating unit looks like. It's on the right side in the rear...
1- Hot/Cold actuator
2- Floor/Ceiling actuator
3- Control module #15832319 with the two blue clips
Looks like you need part #1 |

I would think its just the one actutor in my case. A reset may help though, worth a shot! | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
