Sorry it took me so long to reply. I normally dont check my emails on weekends.
Anyways, I didnt use that plug that came with it. I just used the original plug. On the original, i think I had to bend the tab just a little bit, and it plugged right in.
Anyways, did you get it to work? How does it look? |

DLE: I ordered a replacement lens for one of my fog lights off ebay, waiting for that to arrive before I start the install. I am hoping to get this done sometime this week. I will post pix as soon as the lens comes in.
Thank for all your help! |

Hey DLE - I have the passenger side installed, they look awesome. I did have to switch the Pos and Neg to make them work, I think that was mentioned in one of the forums. The color on the fog vs the head light is a bit different but for now it will do. I am waiting for the lens on my drivers side fog light to dry before I install it tomorrow. I will post pix after I am finished, I may wait until Friday or Sat, I am getting my 22's put on Friday, hopefully our snow season is over. |

Or do you just plug in the two wires into the existing plug that goes on to your stock light and thats it. I have also heard that you need a relay? Is this true? |

It is all self contained. You also do not need a relay. Everything you need is included. The only issue I had was having the positive and negative needing to be reversed. I am going to finish my install tonight and post pictures of mounting and wiring for everyone. |

Is this true? | No need to run a separate power wire. You just use the existing plug thats already there. Very Very easy to do! |

We should meet up sometime! I work in downtown PDX during the week!
Anyways, as for the lowering..
My Black 2004 EXT is lowered 2" front (McGaughys Spindles and 3" rear (Ground Force Springs).
My wife also drives a 2002 regular Escalade that is lowered. Hers is the whole McGaughys Deluxe kit. 2" front spindles and 3" rear springs.
They both ride nice, and not bad at all, EVEN with 24s. If you want, we can meet up and i'll let you drive it so you can see if you like it or not. Also, I can recommend you a place to lower it as well.
Email me if you want to meet up sometime. davidle98664@yahoo.com |
