    Turn signal mirrors

Our 2002 Escalade has heated only mirrors. We would like to upgrade to heated AND turn signal mirrors. Could buy replacement kit from Muth, but really like the auto-dim feature of factory parts. Would someone help us with replacement glass part numbers...Driver glass and Passenger glass...for gmpartsdirect? Thanks and Merry Christmas to one and all!!!

You can look on Ebay too. I found my glass on there. Of course you are going to need to run a wire from the mirror housing through the door to under the steering column where you can tap into the blinker wires. It is quite a pain, I know, I did it when I first got my 02.

Yeah, that. It is not a plug and play glass replacement. Wire routing can be a little tricky.

    Re: Turn signal mirrors

So...are we hearing that Muth is the way to go? Forget the auto dimming? But...doesn't the Muth have to be wired down to the turn signals at the steering columns as well. We thought it true that there's nothing available where a 2002 could be upgraded with turn signal mirrors without some wiring into the factory wiring harness.
'Nother question...do any of the 2002 wires correspond with the '03 and later mirror wiring when pluging into the harness on the back of the mirror? Or does the factory plug have to be jumped/cut out and he mirror wires spliced into the factory wires? Each and every one???
