I think I just got the sickest deal on a Corsa Exhaust!

Check this out guys, I just bought a Corsa Exhaust system off E-bay for about $330 SHIPPED!! Now I know I was kind of taking a chance since the seller was brand new and had no feedback, but that's why I think bidding didn't go so high. If the guy is legit then I just got a really sick deal!!

You bought it from a dealership. They probably had it as old stock and wanted to get rid of it. I'm surprised to see that they have not had more stuff up on ebay. Being a new seller doesn't make it less expensive. They just got rid of it and you were at the right plae at the right time. Let us know how it fits and sounds.

That is a very good price, they are high on their shipping costs, but with the deal you got it does not matter.

Thats actually not true. With so much fraud and scam activity going on with ebay and other online purchase sites, people are getting smarter and (unfortunately for the legitimate sellers) staying away from items they feel might be illegitimate. I see it alot with Rolex watches and other high end expensive items. If you can find a new seller who you can somehow verify is legit, you can get a substantially better deal than someone with excellent feedback who people trust right away.

You are taking a calculated risk whenever you do purchase from someone who is a new unverified seller, and to some people its just not worth it. Much like those who purchase Certified Pre-owned vehicles for thousands of dollars more than what a wholesaler or corner lot would sell the same car for.

If a new seller makes the mistake of starting something with a ridiculously low starting bid, the lack of commitment from the typical buyers will leave the price pretty low. Obviously if they put a reserve on it, or start the bid at market price, then yes it doesnt cost any different.

That is an AWESOME price, but with a zero feedback that seller has, I would've never bid or bought from them. A while back when I first started ebay, I bought a cell phone from a person with zero feedback and they ended up jacking my money without shipping me anything! Paypal got 80% back, but 20% was a loss. Lesson learned for me. Good luck and hope you get it.

Yeah, like I said I knew I was taking a bit of a chance but "IF" the guy is legit I saved over $400! If not then I have a small headache but should get reimbursed for all or most of my loss. Ebay/PayPal are pretty good about helping people who have been scammed. I'm staying positive but will be prepared for either outcome.

Uhh... its a DEALERSHIP dude... no reason to "wait and see" what happens. Call Penske Cadillac and see if they put a Corsa up for sale on Ebay. In fact, I would have done that before bidding... I just realized this was an easy one.

WOW, I really was in the right place at the right time. I got my exhaust already yesterday when I got home from work, it looks awesome. I'm going to go outside in a little while and install. Considering I've seen just the Exhaust tip selling for $250, I got a killer deal!

It might be a little while. I went out there and tried unbolting the stock exhaust, I got the 2 nuts off the flange on the itermediate pipe but the other pipe has a clamp on it and the nut is facing straight up with only a small amount of space before the darn floorpan, I couldn't get that off for the life of me, I got an open ended wrench on it put not enough room to get any kind of force on it so it wouldn't budge, I finally abandoned the project. Maybe a bright idea will hit me this week

Oh yea, Penske Cadillac/Hummer is where I bought mine.

Damn wished I would have seen that deal. Only 14 miles from my house.
Could have picked it up and saved the freight cost.

Now that would have been a sick deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!
