I have de-baged my last 6 Suburbans, mouldings and all, I thought about taking the 3 Escalade badges off, but on my white Escalade they do not bother me that much, but if I had a dark color truck they would be gone.

I agree, leave the badges on. Not many people get to ride in an escalade. RIde with pride.

Keep them. Dont let them mistaken your car for a Tahoe hybrid.

Keep them on. I have seen someone with the first four letters taken off but it looked stupid.

I'm LOL at this. The only people who de-badge are S320 owners who want to look like an S500, RS owners who want a z-28, Caprice owners who want an Impala SS, etc...etc. I only get the real thing. See "HARDCORE" Ranting-sorry.

For me, the Escalade symbols and name make a HUGE statement. I remember when I first saw the emblems and I thought to myself.. jeez, those are huge! It smacks you right in the face! You cant miss an escalade from miles away and that is what distuinguishes it from its inferior cousins such as the Yukon & Tahoe.

It depends, I wouldnt even THINK of Debadging a 99-or 2000 since then it really would be completely indeterminable from a Denali, but on a 2002 or newer Id CONSIDER it depending on what look the owner was going for. Certainly if all youre going to do is drop them just because youve got an itch to play with it I would say forget it, but if youve put on special wheels and other individualizations I could see it.

For the most part, I say no.

the only reason i thought of removing them is i dont want it to get really dirty in between the letters, i t might be difficult to clean later on.

use a SOFT toothbrush. I dont see how it would get so dirty unless you are mud bogging all the time. You can try spray washing it a little closer, but not too close. Those spray washers are STRONG and may strip your paint.

Yeah, the toothbrush idea works pretty good. Thats what I use on mine to keep it clean in the hard to reach spots, and thats what my cousin uses and he is a professional car detailer.
