Can an Escalade 2003 steering wheel fit on a 2002

I want to uprade my 2002 Escalade steering wheel to a 2003. Can it be done?

I doubt it. The radio switched to being part of the Class 2 bus. It may physically fit, but the controls won't work. At least to my knowledge.

And I would get a 04+ steering wheel, They look better.

Actually I do have a 2004 steering wheel my concern is the difference between airbags. The radio controls are the least of my worries. Has any body ever upgraded their 2002 steering wheel to the later model style?

You might also consider upgrading A/C too .

Has anyone figured this out yet? i'd love to get away from the Chevy looking Steering wheel my 02 has. i Guess since most of us go aftermarket on the stereos and dont have a/c steering controls to begin with, the big question is if the air bags are compatable with the 02 system.
Someone has to know this one, any techs or audio guys have the answer?

I'd say the firs step would be figuring out if they have single or dual stage airbags.

Hey Cadillacboy, will the A/C unit from a 03-06 plug into the 02?

I have never attempted to put the climate control unit in the 02, but I know the one from the 03 appears to be larger, therefore should not fit into an 02.
