Anyone hear of U2 Wheels

Trying to see if anyone knows anything good or bad about U2 Wheels. They look very nice. You just never know! thanks

They are a super-entry level rim that has some really good styles. Just make sure you aren't paying too much for them.

Here are some 22's I found on Ebay that are U2's.. they look like DropStar's but are only 1500 with tires:

Thats the rims I just bought for my '04 EXT! I love it so far!

Lots of compliments and is great quality for the price I could afford.

I was gonna wait til' I put on my 2/3" drop, then post pics, but I guess I'll post the pics now!

Here are the pics.....

Its 24". I paid $2800 shipped to my door mounted and balanced with all wheel lugs and locks. That also included Kumho tires that I requested too.

Normally, then install cheaper brand tires, but I asked for Kumhos, so I paid $200 extra for that. Total price, $2800.....

I did have to re-balance, because it was off a bit.

What do you guys think?? I am getting it lowered 2/3" later this week.

It doesnt look that shiny and chrome, because it was an overcast day, very cloudy about to rain. BUT, when the sun is out, its blinging.

Hey DLE,
Is that the same makers of the Stunt model?!?
How's the ride as to any shaking or shimming? Keep us updated on the them. Hopefuly they are a reliable, quality wheel?!?

I think it is the same makers, but i'm not 100% on that. I was gonna to go with the Stunt model, but for some reason, I like the looks of these more.

The ride is great. At first, when I got it, I just put them on. Drove it and around 30mph, the steering wheel was shaking pretty bad. Took it to Les Schwab and they re-balanced it, and they said the balance was WAY off.

After they re-balanced it, it now rides great. It doesnt shake or anything. BUT... When i drive around 65+mph, "I" can feel it slightly shake, but thats just me, because I can reconize these things. If my wife or anybody was in the truck, they wouldn't notice.

Its like, when I was washing the truck, I noticed a small tiny chip at the bottom of my truck from rocks. Everytime I look at that door, i'll notice it right away. As oppose to anyone else looking at it, will probably not notice it at all. lol.

That's the same way I am! I notice the smallest thing.
Is it from 65+ all the time, or just in a certain range?
Do u think it's from weak suspension maybe? I'm rebuilding my front end suspension, inc big brakes and a 2/3 drop. I'm hoping that'll stiffn everything up front? I'd just hate to get the Stunts and have a shake that i can't fix!?!

Its not all the time. Only once in a while. Like, when i'm driving on flat roads, it wont happen.

But when I drive on an uneven road, it will once in a while.

Its not bad though, trust me

I was close to buying them on e-bay. I think the seller was "rimwholesaler". I talked to the guy and he was real helpful. The only reason I chose a different wheel because my wife picked out a different wheel. Their wheels look really clean for their price. He quoted around $2600 plus $200 shipping, including mounting/balancing.

I just bought a set of U2-55 in 24''. I got them and was so excited only to bring them to a shop and the owner told me that one of the wheels is warped and won't ever balance properly. Has anyone had this happen to them before? Talk about a day ruiner.

u2-55's are nice............... unfortunate though! call the place you bought them off of and try to get an exchange...

I did call and an exchange is an option but the wheel had to be shipped back to the company I bought it from (under my cost) and then they are going to have to ship it to U2 to confirm that it is warped. I'll have to wait a few more weeks for my wheels.
