Nope. Mine isn't. In don't believe any of the 6.2L ecotechs are. Some of the smaller ecotechs are supposed to have that feature I believe I read, but not the 6.2.

2015 Cadillac Escalade 6.2L with FLEX FUEL
So far I have found a few reviews that say 6.2L EcoTec FFV by Edmunds and Toy Lex online review.

    Edmunds:
    6.2L V8 FFV 6-speed Automatic
    ENGINE TYPE Flex-fuel (ffv)
    http://www.edmunds.com/cadillac/esca...res-specs.html

    Toy Lex:
    2015 CADILLAC ESCALADE 4x4 - 6.2L EcoTec3 V-8 FlexFuel - Review Inside & Outside
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nbw2AA0d17c

The local dealers online windows sticker
Engine, Vortec 6.2L V8 SFI (E85) with Active Fuel Management and E85.
    http://www.wallacecadillacofstuart.c...S3CEF5ER203770

what is questionable is some are vortec and some are ecotec.
since the windows sticker says vortec. are they the same thing or different engines?

OP, you can only get one engine in the '15 Escalade, and that is the 6.2L EcoTec V8 Flex Fuel.

Incorrect, you can only get 1 engine in the 2015 Escalade. GM 6.2 Liter V8 EcoTec3 L86 Engine

No flex fuel on 6.2's sorry. It's only on the lower liters. People are mis-advertising or carrying over product details from the prior gen.

Re: Anyone who has received their new 2015 Escalade get it with FLEX FUEL?

I have a 2015 now, no yellow cap (no cap at all) no flex fuel logo, nothing about flex fuel anywhere.

"Compared to the smaller 4.3L V6 and 5.3L V8, the 6.2L V8 is not FlexFuel capable and therefore cannot consume E85. Instead, this 11.5:1 compression engine (the same compression ratio as the 2014 Corvette Stingray’s LT1) recommends premium fuel for optimum performance. Such is the trade-off for such impressive power"

Just received our order sheet for a 2015 Premium. Lists Flex Fuel, but I'm sure it's arriving without that capability. Appears even the Cadillac order system is incorrect. Master data management problems...

Yes I read the problem was GM, they weren't providing everyone with the correct data. So now you will find places that says it has flex and places that say it doesn't. It definitely doesn't have it.

The new SEMA truck says NOWHERE about flex fuels unlike the earlier models which said it in several places, the funny thing is you can make more power with E85

Some confusion on GM's part,(go figure) the 2015 Escalade 6.2 engine does not have flex fuel capability.

What do you suppose would happen if you did put e85 in it? Just get some engine knock? I'm sure it would run, right?

How can you get more power from e85?

E85 should run leaner than standard levels of gasoline. That could make the check engine light come on. Also, it is reported that it could corrode parts that were not designed for E85 (e.g. fuel pump).

I believe the corrosion issue is the reason not to use E85
