Notice the lift gate seam? Just like mine. I think the way I took the pictures is making people think they dont have the issue. I haven't seen a new escalade that doesn't have an issue with that seam. It's totally bumpy along that seam if you feel it, and on the black it sticks out like a sore thumb.
Yeah, mine is bumpy on the seam too.

Are you on the road trip yet gmfam? Like to hear now the Escalade works out for you, I've only driven mine for 15 miles at a time max. Except when I brought it home from Chicago, but that was just myself on a 2.5 hours drive.

Yep, we are on the road. We drove from Williamsburg VA to Madison WI. We took this trip last year in our Denali and the gas mileage in the Escalade is way better. Other than that it was Escalade smooth. There were no squeaks or rattles from the airbag fix and the cabin was ultra quiet. The nav worked great and would reroute us past traffic automatically. The Escalade also did a lot better in heavy winds than our Denali. The entire time on the road, we never saw another 15 Escalade. We did see a 15 Black Raven Escalade outside Madison in Marshall. On the way back home we are going to hit the Corvette Museum and Myrtle Beach.

The Corvette museum is pretty cool. They had a giant sink hole swallow up some of the cars a couple months ago underneath the building. I think I read the museum is still open, but that was a giant hole in the building. Shocking actually.

Ahhh well thanks for stopping by to say hi while you were in Madison! Forgot you were coming here, I think you mentioned before. I wasn't in Marshall so it wasn't me you saw. Do you have family in Madison?

I used the built in NAV for the first time last week and was actually really impressed with it. Usually I didn't bother with the built in NAV on my 2012 and just used my phone.

My father in-law lives in Marshall on a few acres. It was pretty cool when we came up in the Denali, because it was built in Janesville WI.

Yeah it was big news around here when that plant closed. I didn't realize they built GMT900's there. Very cool.
