I talked to my sales guy and he said he's holding off on any new escalades until September because that's when they start production with the new logo.
Wow this is very interesting... And I think Cadillade may be on to something?!! Those are some major
changes in the Fall, considering the new model is just being released.
Interesting that he quoted the 8 speed when GM/Ford are working on a 10 speed for truck platforms. I'm gonna wait until 2016 when they add the 10 speed and contrast stitching to the seats
It kinda makes since, GM is coming out with an 8-speed later this year in their trucks and such, seems perfect to apply it to the Escalade and bring it in with the 2016 model--We may even see the AWD return with this new Transmission as well, that would be a nice touch along with the platinum model too My plan was to not even buy until LATE this year anyway so Ill just wait and see what happens. There will be a few test drives though for sure!!!
Since they're labeling it a 2015 at launch, I doubt they will do anything in the fall. Perhaps wait alllll the way until Sept 2015 and put in changes for MY2016?
Yeah he said that there will be no 15s on the lot until September/October due to the emblem change. I mean I don't care about the emblem myself, you can prob get the "old" emblem one for like $10-$15k off
They are, but my dealer is waiting till sep/oct for the changes. I mean you can buy one in spring and they will get it for you, but they won't start putting big orders in until September
Just talked to a salesman at Casa de Cadillac here in LA. He said interest from people asking when/how soon/how much has been phenomenal. Buzz is strong. He said the dealership is a little nervous that the premium price might prove a stumbling block ( avg sticker has been around $73k, and now they're all gonna be around $80-83k). But he feels like its gonna be a monster hit. BTW as has been noted by others, CTS not selling well. Avg price easily up 15k from what people are used to. Everyone agrees the product is a home run, just now out of reach.
I saw the New Yukons and Tahoes on my trip to Dallas. On picture you have mixed thoughts, but when you look up close and personal, all I can say it wow.
