I'm a car enthusiast and loved the caddy first and after getting a range rover, loves them both that I currently own both. Hopefully the 2014 is not that great so I can keep my hybrid and get a Ferrari as well.

Mule images were leaked around late October. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/10/31/g...-ostentatious/
Would be nice to start a new section for the fourth gen.

That's probably a decoy oval emblem to make us think "ford"

Re: We will have to wait till 2014-2015.......

So far as I am aware all next gen GM full size SUVs are due for release in 3rd quarter 2013 as a MY2014. In fact my super secret sources hint that they will be revealed either at the upcoming Detroit or Chicago auto shows.

Further confirmation and some new details regarding their design just got released: http://blog.caranddriver.com/gm-to-f...=Google+Reader

    ----------

    And ...

"What’s more, both the interiors and exteriors of the next-generation 2014 Chevrolet Suburban/Tahoe and 2014 GMC Yukon/Yukon XL" http://gmauthority.com/blog/2012/12/...ze-suv-models/

Unless of course they decide to delay the Escalade for a year after the Tahoe/Yukon for some reason, which seems highly unlikely ... especially since:

Originally, estimates put the launch of the new full-sized SUV line somewhere in the second half of 2013, beginning with the all-new Chevy Suburban/Tahoe and GMC Yukon/Yukon XL models, with the Escalade following a few months after. This also means that GM may not officially reveal them for quite some time. http://gmauthority.com/blog/2012/12/...r-2014-launch/

I don't think we are gonna see 2015 model year escalade's at the dealer till 2014 April or may.
So at least another 14-15 months.

Original production date was jan 27-2014 but since the production of the Tahoe and Yukon is getting delayed few months from November 2013 to jan-feb of 2014.
For sure they won't make escalade before Tahoe so more likely production date is march or April.

This is what it might look like with xts style grill.

    Thanks for the linkie.

So it's interesting ... it does indeed look like they pushed everything back a few months. I wonder why because I was under the impression that the Arlington plant's retooling was on schedule. Not sure what to make of this info.

    Your welcome.

I think they are waiting for 8 speed transmission.

I read that it's gonna be ready first few months of the 14.

As far as weight reduction goes I had big hopes but i was told by a member at gm insidenews that weight savings would be around 200 pound or so.

I think tooling is done at Arlington but it doesn't cause problem to keep on building current truck.

I think only new caddy will be plug in electric car converj at Detroit show.

Escalade probably will be at Chicago or LA.

    LA is more likely.
