    Nice, congrats!!

I have a Red Volt as well, went Silver on the ELR I just got. The May lease deal with the rebates was terrific, couldn't pass it up either! Free charger is getting installed soon.

Excellent re Solar Panels for you next spring, I just put up a 9 kW system this April, got 1274 kWH of production in May.

I'm interested in the deal terms too. Do the Volt and the ELR use the same charger?

Chargers work on either model. I got a $12,750.00 "Rebate" on mine. You can get another $5,000.00 on top of that if you get a demo. Dealer had not designated a demo and the demo had to build up a minimum mileage before being offered for sale. My utility will allow a 9KW system on my roof. I'm having a few companies come out and give me estimates after I get the Level 2 charger installed.

Thanks Texican for sharing the information. Isn't there a $7,500 credit on all of them from the federal government. I know that Cadillac is paying the dealers to keep a ELR demo in stock.

The ELR gets a $7500 Federal Tax Credit.

Keep in mind that the federal credit may be lower in individual cases. If the sum of all tax credits (including the $7500) exceeds your tax liability (1040 line 46), the actual credit applied is capped at your tax liability.

BTXLR is correct. $7500 is the maximum.

    Re: SASSY and CLASSY

I got all the income tax they take every month out of my paychecks refunded back to me in a lump sum check when I filed my taxes this year for my purchase of the 2013 volt. If you get back the max $7,500.00 in taxes and you purchase a demo you could get one for about $25,000.00 off MSPR!!! More if your state offers incentives too...
