Glad to see they still have the wreath on the emblem. After seeing the Elmiraj I was starting to worry. It just isn't the same without the wreath. I can't read the window sticker, what does it end up at?
$82k haha give it a year they will be giving them away, you could prob pick one up for like
$50k. I don't get Cadillac, you think they would want to price it under the tesla to steal the business away but then they price it higher than tesla?
I don't get it. I feel that they won't sell 1,000 nationwide. Maybe they don't want to sell a lot. Chevy says they lose $10k on every Volt. Who knows?
Compare the December 2013 ELR sales of six units to BMW's sales: http://www.autoblog.com/2013/11/25/b...ds-10k-orders/
All $135k+ i8s are sold for the first year of production, and the $42-45k i3 has 10,000 pre-orders. (Note that the i8 is about $55k more expensive than the ELR, and that the i3 is $2-5k more than a fully-loaded Volt.)
Now that is how you sell an electric car! BMW and Tesla know what they're doing. Cadillac and Chevrolet? Not so much.
The ELR looks nice from inside out, but Cadillac has been going overboard with it's pricing. I am gonna miss the wreath around the crest.
Someone on the CTS forum said people should wait to buy the new CTS because the new crest will be on it next month. I don't understand why the crest without the wreath would be better? I just see it as a cost cutting move.
