You done now? We're getting bored of your assumptions...
The Converj was shocking low to the ground when I saw in person. The ELR has almost enough front headroom for me.
The converj wheels also seemed to be different with different spoke widths. The ELR looks much more like a volt in pics than the converj ever did. I'd still like to see it in person though.
I too saw it in Detroit during press days and was VERY impressed. The quality of the interior is fantastic -- there's a fantastic mix of leather and suede and the seats look great. Cadillac (and GM) is starting to see the wisdom of knock-out interiors (new Vette, XTS incredible in real life). I can't wait for the new Escalade and CTS to see where they go -- I digress. ELR should be a premium-priced product. They can easily sell 2,000 of these a month between China and the US (and maybe a handful in Europe).
Well said. The interiors have improved 1000 fold and it will pay off big for GM.Quote:

Not a fan of black wheels, but blacking out the Venetian blinds in the grill looks great.
It is sad that the related Chevrolet Volt is not considered a sales success. I think this is complete bunk created by anti-domestic car types. The fact is that the Volt is the best selling electric hybrid on the market. The sales of Nissan Leaf, Mitsubishi I, Focus plug-in and Prius Plug-in lag far behind the Volt.
Doesn't ELR stand for Electric Long range.
I would expect it to have much longer range , than the VOLT.
just because the name stands for longer range, and it's a Cadillac.
I stand corrected , if the name is different, than the above.
I wonder if the car manufacturers even considered using two batteries
instead of one. One for accessories ONLY. Not the same size as the MAIN battery.
This system works very well on Yachts. Both charged by the charger and Main engine.
I just put 2 + 2 together,
the Chev Volt gets 380 miles range and,
the Cadillac ELR gets 300 miles range ?
IS THIS EXTENDED RANGE ?
