    Squeaky seat

Sometime the drivers seat on my 2006 DTS squeeks every time the seat moves. Sounds like an old car with squeaky rear leaft springs. Comes and goes.

I am going to take this thing in some day and have them fix the knocking sound, ensure the adaptive cruise control is OK (Not going to let them replace it if nothing shows up as a problem since I need to get with the police and do some serious testing on the problem reported earlier with police RADAR causing the ACC to go into panic stop mode) and I would like to know if the squeaking seat is a known problem since I can guarantee that it won't fail when I take the car in.

    Re: Squeaky seat

Is it squeaking where the seat springs are, or is it squeaking down by the frame rails?

    Re: Squeaky seat

The squeaking seems to come from the springs in the back of the seat.
