That is one heck of a DTS to be carried around in. Would definitely catch a lot of heads.

I really like the two-toned black and silver. I wonder how a sedan would look painted like that?

It looks good. But I wouldn't removed them. They provide excellent protection from door dings. Can you paint them black?

I prefer it with the chrome (there isn't a lot on this car to begin with). But definitely a ditto on not removing them. There are several impact marks on the moldings on my car--one or two doozies--that obviously saved the door.....

If you want to black out the chrome on the door strip 3m makes a black tape that would do the trick.

The tape is 3m Brand or there is another brand called Trimbrite. It's called black out tape. The tape is available in several widths and is made to cover chrome trim. Should be available at a good auto parts store.

Very nice, how come you didn't go with the body color grill? I love the body color grills on the DTS. They're rare to see. Beautiful Vette as well.

    ----------

Can you guys with DTSs tell me if you notice a difference between the DTS Performance edition and the DTS regular editions? Is the engine in the Performance edition just as reliable? I believe that's L39 correct?
