    2006 DTS Nav Clock Question

I have been reading on here of people getting the clock to display on their Nav units after the version 5 update I believe. I bought my car with the original version 1 disc. I recently updated to the version 8 disc which did update things a lot but no clock. My question is do I need to install version 5 before 8 for the firmware to work? Any help would be appreciated.

You shouldn't as far as I know. Not sure about the 06, but i don't what the difference would be unless a firmware update is needed. ??? I just put the 8.0 in mine. I had the 2.0 in it to start with, the clock shown and all after install. Try reinstalling it.
