I'm curious too, though have to admit there's nothing in the current Cadillac stable that appeals to me. The ATS is too small. The CTS is over priced. The proportions of the XTS just don't look right. And CUE is NOT a selling point for me. If I had to change today, I'd be looking at Mercedes C-class (if only because I've heard they are highly flexible when it comes to leasing), or a Buick Lacrosse. Or maybe I'd try living with just my Jeep Grand Cherokee for awhile.

No offense Paul, but Kool Aide and a fine Italian Wine both quench your thirst, but are two completely different experiences. I've rented the Nissan and it's not a bad car, it's just it seems so different than the DTS!

What is a NISSAN? Is it a motor vehicle?

I don't see how you can compare a Nissan anything to a Cadillac... not saying they're bad cars, and yeah, the mileage is gonna be better, but that's where it ends. If all you care about is mileage then obviously a Cadillac is not the car for you.

Not worried about mileage at all have always had a North Star engine except on my CTS , I just like the way the new altimas look and the features are the same of what I want in a car I was thinking of a 2015 CTS but I've rented one and not that impressed especially with the cue system , I mean I installed a ipad on the dash of my DTS and it has more features than the cue system .

You installed an Ipad into your dash? Any pics?

My friend is an ex Caddy driver with a 2012 Nissan Altima. He really loves it like it's his baby. I couldn't stand driving anything but a Cadillac as my main ride but I am also very strange for my age.

I've seriously considered leaving Cadillac. The main thing that is keeping me with Cadillac is my Deville. I've driven a Buick Lacrosse and I was thoroughly impressed with all the features. Especially with all the ones sorely lacking in the DTS. The main thing I love about the DTS is its styling and its commanding presence. Now new Cadillacs have lost that beautiful design. So the only thing they have left for me is the interior and features. And I can get those from other cars now without the higher prices of Cadillac. I'm hoping that a new Cadillac is in the works that grabs my attention.
