    Hey wastingjake;

    Just curious, are removing the GM chicklets and the dealership badge categorized as modifications?

    Ehh could be argued either way, but I figured I'd at least start the thread with something..

    How much is yours lowered? Have you noticed any difference in the ride quality?

    Re: Modified DTS Picture Thread

    This one has staggered wheels set with a wider rear tire too. I've lowered some of my cars in the past. My Mercury Marauder was the dumbest mistake. It sure looked nice, but the ride was just awful. As I get older I just won't sacrifice ride comfort for looks anymore unless it's tried and proven.

    About 1.5 inches in the front and about 3.5 inches in the rear, from what it was when I bought it new.
    It used to sit real high in the rear.
    The Dealer did it with the TECH 2...
    Took about an hour and a half...

    What is the 'tech 2' are those springs/shocks or is that a electronic way of lowering the car that I've seen someone talking about on the forums recently?

    The Tech 2 is the tool that the dealers use to plug into the car and do diagnostics and set/reset things.

    Here is a link to one... I wish I had one with UP TO DATE software on it, but the price is way out of my range.

    Here's a few of mine. I have a pretty empty base DTS, but did a few things: removed chiclets, chrome pillars, color matched grill, OEM wheel with wood inserts, gold emblems, gold heritage badge, 20 inch chrome wheels with Vogue tires and gold lug nuts, chrome and gold license frames, and about halfway through with wrapping it in satin pearl white vinyl.

    Re: Modified DTS Picture Thread

    In the picture thread of pictures of our cars this car was posted by cardio doc. I didn't look back into the thread but I had saved this picture from when cardio doc posted the pictures. I thought this car was done very tastefully.
