2006 Transmission Problems?? bearing or bushing?

I just bought a 2006 from a dealer last week and I hear a screaching noise from the front left wheel. I spent all day under it and replace the hub bearing, still made noise. Then I tried to remove the cv, but couldn't so I cut the clamp and pull the axle and cv bearing out. I put it in neutral and it sill made a noise when I turned the cv end attached to the tranny. Any ideal what could be make a scraping noise.

Any help would be appricaited. I bought the car as is, but taking it back monday and will have pay big money.

    thanks, Bill:tisk

    Hello Bill,

I am sorry to hear that the SRX you bought is experiencing this noise from the front wheel. I do see that you were taking your SRX back in on Monday. Do you have any updates from your visit to the dealership Monday?
