    Front end knocking noise

My '07 DTS has a slight knocking noise over small road imperfections. It's not a
terribly loud noise, but is consistent over bumps in the road. My car has 88k on the clock with only a left side wheel hub ever being replaced. I've read on the forum
about the top strut bearings being suspect with this mileage. Thoughts?

You may have a broken sway bar end link. They're made from cheap steel & rust away till they break off if you live in the salt belt.

Thanks stormnn. I checked both links and they are solid. The bushings look to be in good shape as well so it must be coming from from another component. Im going to check the tie rod ends and the ball joints for looseness next.

My 07' was making the same noise, a very slight "clunk" after the car was moving in the up direction after going over a bump. Strut Bearing, very easy to change, might as well change the gas strut while you are there.
