Is there any way to seal the intake so he can't get back in there and do it again ??

I'm not 100% sure were he got in. But, the car was sitting for a while in storage before I bought it. I'm long gone from that area and the car is being driven...soooo hopefully that will do it!

Did you have to torque any of the knock sensor bolts? I have to do this job on my 06 dts. I'm getting a P0332 along with a P0340 code.

Fix the cam sensor code first... It may be causing the other one.

I fixed the cam position code and still have the knock sensor code. It looks like something chewed up my cam position sensor wires, so I took off the power steering pump and reconnected the wires. That got rid of the cam position code but the knock sensor code is still there. It probably chewed the knock sensor wires too...I let the car sit for two years and this is what happens

    That's the most likely thing...
Check the wires going INTO / UNDER the intake before pulling the intake.
I think there are two wiring bundles... one going to each knock sensor.
If nothing is wrong with the external wiring, then pull the intake and you will see the knock sensors and wiring.
