    2011 Planinum Cd Loading

We recently purchased a very nice 2011 25K Platinum DTS. We are trying to load the 6 CD's into the Bose system but cannot find the load button that you need to hold for 5 seconds to beep and begin the load process. The unload button is a hard button located on the upper right. Can someone tell us where the load button is located ?
    Thanks

Well. After more research it appears that our 2011 Platinum DTS only has a single disk CD player since it has navigation. Hard to believe But think it is correct.

That is correct. There is only a single CD disk player in-dash. Unfortunately, Cadillac wouldn't spend the extra nickel to equip the DTS with a USB port to connect an mp3 player either.

If you don't mind the effort in ripping your CD's onto a PC, then burning your own CD, you can usually get 5-6 albums on one compact disc. The CD player in the navigation system will play an MP3/WMA CD, so even though you don't have a 6 CD changer, you can get about the same amount of music on one disc.

No but they give you an aux in which, in my opinion, is all you need.

Congratulations on your recent purchase of a 2011 DTS, CBOYLE. I am sorry your system only holds one CD at a time. Contact us via private message if additional concerns or questions arise. We are here to assist.

The aux port will not charge an ipod/iphone while it's being played. You are on internal battery. Also, the volume needs to be raised considerably while on aux. Heaven help you if you forget to lower it prior to unplugging the unit. First time I did it, I almost blasted the roof off the car!
