    humming noise 06 dts

I have had this vehicle for about 2 months now. When I start my vehicle I hear a humming noise from the rear of my vehicle. I was thinking it may be my fuel pump, but I am now thinking it may be something else. It sounds like it is coming from the rear right side area, possibly in the trunk. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the pump for the self leveling shocks.

How long does the humming last?

Does the rear level itself and stay level when weight is added?

The sound lasts maybe 5 seconds when I firs turn the car on. I havent actually needed to use my trunk for anything as of now, so I couldnt really say if it levels out and stays level

Sounds like the air compressor. Mine comes on for 2-3 seconds after sitting overnight.
