Performance DTS Owners with Magnetic Ride Control!!!

Does it really ride like a big race car? I drive my Luxury I pretty fast around turns and you can feel the softness in the back. Basically, it doesn't hug certain corners. However, the car is so wide, so even with the soft suspension it can take corners pretty good for it size.

So a performance DTS with magnetic ride control, should be able to handle curves like a pro?

    Thoughts?

    Correct....
The Magride plus Stabilatrac, plus 18 inch wheels, plus bigger, more aggressive and sticker tires, will surprise you at what it is capable of... LOL

I was up in Colorado a few years ago and OnStar called me to see if there had been an accident.
I had got it sideways a couple of times on some of the curves and I reckon I exceeded the limits of the software that detects accidents.

I was on an asphalt paved back road, with no traffic, and I was driving it pretty hard at the time.

They drive nothing like a "big race car". Stiffer, more planted, less floaty, less body lean, impressive for a large luxury sedan. But they're not performance/sporty cars by any stretch of the imagination.

Yep - - - There's a very, very large gap between "big race car" and "American performance sedan".

I had a 2000 deville dhs, and that was a very floaty ride.... nice though but very floaty! I now own a 2006 dts performance and yea its a whole another animal!!! It really feels planted in the road, almost hugs it. Only thing I miss from the 2000 is gas mileage! This dts has a different gear ratio and it suffers.... compared to the deville.

DTS Performance with the different gearing and slightly hopped-up motor keep it on the torque curve ready to >-Go-->

To bad Cadillac did not include a 6 speed transmission. That would be the best of both worlds.

Those big-ass wheels/tires offer less options than other sizes, but really help keeping it planted. The 50 profile is kinda-of an oddball.
But, it is the class act 'Caddy with attitude' embroidered seats and better stitching.
