    DTS Navigation Head Unit Question

    Hello everyone. After doing some research I am ready to perform my next upgrade to make my Luxury I into a Lux III! I want to install one of the nav head units into my car.... BUT I don't care about the navigation aspect. I mostly want the touch interface and the "just for looks" factor. Has anyone else done this? Is it plug and play? Bare in mind: I don't need the NAV function!

    I just installed a factory NAV unit in my 08 DTS level III but mine already had the BOSE stereo and your level I likely does not. That's what I heard was the main sticking point on level I and II cars, although you'd think the NAV just outputs Line-output sound (right and left channels) so I'm not sure why the non-BOSE amp cares, but maybe the NAV does output in a special way that only the BOSE amp understands.

    Assuming that's true, you'd have to replace the AMP and all 8 speakers! Wonder if anyone has done that?
