Yes I agree. We should go and find the designers who thought of those cars and pelt them with rotten eggs and shoot them with water guns filled sugar water while they are thrown into fire ant piles. Although a few years ago I almost bought one. <--me if I would have bought one.

Eventually all cars are going to start looking the same because they are running out of ways to make them any differencem without making them look older. Look at the mustang, they redesigned it and redesigned it and then finally said hell with it and make it look like a older version and slicked it down. I think we will see a lot of this.

Not all of the 80s was bad though. Just American cars in the 80s

Exception of the Brougham and SDV

Yeah we had a bad period in the 80's. From Milli Vanilli, Recession, downsized cars, to cults becoming a fad, Vanilla Ice, Roos(shoes with zippered pockets) we had it bad. It was the time of unequalled wealth, greed, and capitalism at it's finest. Sometimes I wish it was here again. I had way less responsibility then . Where has the time gone??

    LOL

in the early-mid 80s i had two less children!

and a string of fast performance/luxo cars

I had it pretty good in the 80s. First part of it was spent in university. I had a good job and good cars cant complain really. Actually i cant fault any of the cars i had in the 80s apart from the Maserati.

I think the new DTS looks dangerously similar to a Mini Cooper. Here come the lawsuits.
