    What is a ream?

Could be a bad wheel hub.

You may have a bad Rim or you need a wheel balance does the car do it at high speed.

    ----------

Also check that side strut .

It does do it at high speed, only during acceleration, kind of a grinding. Wouldnt a bent rim or balance do it all the time at highway speeds?

    Yes...
See if you can find a safe place and try this....
Get up to 35 or 40 and then turn the wheel back and forth (left then right then back left)... like they do in NASCAR...
This will cause more weight to be applied to each front wheel as you go back and forth.
If it is a bad hub bearing... you will notice the noise increase on the bad side when you do this.
