Seeking performance enhancements for 2007 DTS

I have a 2007 DTS with 144,000 kms on it that I bought last December. It's my second DTS and I love it. The 4.3L engine has plenty of power, especially when I fill up with the 91 Octane fuel. But, being a child of the 60s and 70s, I want still more power. Is there a chip somewhere, or something that I can have installed, tweaked, etc., that will give my puppy some more horses?

    Thanks in advance.

Edit ... I live in Barrie. That said, I'd be willing to go pretty much anywhere within the GTA if it's the right place!

I'll put this in the proper Forum for advice and maintenance.

    Welcome Aboard !!!!

(Basically, for "performance upgrades" you're (like most of us FWD drivers) out of luck. Keep it clean and enjoy the car for what it is.)

The only increase in HP can be obtained through a tuner program that changes the onboard computer specs. There is no chip or supercharger or turbo available for the "N" engines. Talk to SuperJim, I think he has had it done to his DTS.

    The STS-V has a supercharger. The STS-V sports a supercharged 4.4 L version of the Northstar V8, certified by the SAE to produce 469 hp (350 kW) and 439 lb·ft (595 N·m).

Facts never bother some people - and neither does the difference between the FWD "DTS" and the later RWD "STS" Sigma body.

What I should have said was , that they should have made a DTS-V The DTS-V sports a supercharged 4.4 L version of the Northstar V8, certified by the SAE to produce 469 hp (350 kW) and 439 lb·ft (595 N·m). Just think of it.

Re: Seeking performance enhancements for 2007 DTS

YOU shoehorn the engine/transmission into a FWD package and, with input from the FWD Seville/Deville/Eldorado owners, you'll be a multimillionaire.

Re: Seeking performance enhancements for 2007 DTS

The 400+ hp / 300+ FT/LB torque would be a really bad thing to deal with when it come to the FWD torque steer. This just what Cadillac says about the new XTS -V-sport only being available in the AWD setup.

If it could be done, 469 HP wouldn't exactly be ripping the wheel out of your hand. Here's ~650 HP:
