    2007 DTS cadillac exhaust help

I want to do some tune ups to my exhaust on my Caddy to make it sound deeper. I was looking at the Magnaflow and the Corsa exhaust, but I have no idea what to get and how much to get..

Here is what the back looks like: cadd.jpg

Would I have to get an entire system like this? system.jpg

Or can I just get 2 mufflers like this? magnaflow_14815.jpg

Sorry I am so noobish, but any help would be appreciated

Re: 2007 DTS cadillac exhaust help

Corsa makes a beautiful exhaust. I have one on my Suburban. I contacted Corsa directly about the cat back that they have for the 2005 DTS to see if it would fit the 2007. The rep that I spoke to said there may be some modification to the exhaust to make it work. That was a deal breaker for me. I didn't want to mess with a expensive system and once I modified it it was mine and I couldn't return it. I would look into having an exhaust shop swap out your mufflers or build you a custom exhaust. Make sure the shop can do mandrel bends. I would want to go with stainless and that will run you some $$

Alright thank you so much. I just found a custom exhaust shop that is near me so I think I am going to just take the car there and get their opinions.

Any updates on the exhaust work? I know a few others on here have been asking about this recently (myself included).

Pardon the grave digging; found this thread through a Google search.

Before spending a lot of money on a new exhaust . . . try removing the resonator and replacing with a straight thru crossover pipe.

That should give you the sound you're lookin' for.

Any exhaust shop could do that for about $50 to $80.
