A while back there was a thread on whether 2006 and later DTS remote start equiped cars would turn on the seat warmers. If I remember right most said it didn't happen. Well I have a 2007 DTS Lux 3 and last night{temp 15 degrees F} I used the remote start to warm up prior going out to eat. Guess what? Warm seats when the wife and I got in the car, both sides. The lights were not on at the seat warmer buttons. I wonder if the temp has to be below a certin point for this to work? Warm buns to all DTS owners. Doug-J
When it is cold enough, and I use remote start, my 2006 DTS automatically turns on FRONT seat warmers AND the 3 "heated seat indicator lights" are "on" also, although when you insert and turn the key, the lights go off and I have to then manually turn the heated seats back on.
fwiw my 2007 turns on both front seat heaters and the lights with the remote start feature. they both turn off and must be manually restarted after you turn the ignition switch
Do you think it'd be possible to adjust the activation temp with the Tech II tool? You would think Cadillac would understand that certain people may want certain things, no?
