Re: 09 Nav Disk Update
Eureka...or something! My nav system finally works correctly. After months of driving the Cadillac Customer Service team crazy with my complaints about the accuracy of the system, a solution appears to have worked. 2 things: a. The Onstar people completely reflashed my system, including the GPS, as I was driving down the road. b. The dealer installed a new 5.0 nav disk just in case the old one was faulty. I suspect the Onstar reflash solved the problem, but who knows? At any rate, the system doesn't tell me that I'm at home until I'm nearly in my driveway. That's an improvement of a couple hundred yards in accuracy. If you're having a problem with yours, push the blue button and as the Onstar operator to recalibrate your GPS. It only takes a few minutes and they can perform the function while you're driving down the road. I'm finally happy.
