I had the same type Spring Boosters on my old Deville and it made a world of a difference... the car did'nt sagg to the ground scrapping the mufflers over every bump. I see it in almost every older Deville when someone is sitting in the back, the car's nose is up in the air while the rear is bottoming out. In any case I did front and back on my new one and believe me when i tell you that its a big difference, knocking and clinging is gone. Car sits higher about an inch & feels like an escalade no loss in handling.

    Cool...Glad it worked.
I haven't ever used the boosters, so I shouldn't have said anything against them.
    Sorry about that.

I too have seen the older DeVilles sagging in the rear with passengers.
    Not a pretty sight.

Glad it is still driving well.

I will be going to the mountains in Colorado for a weeks vacation, in one more week.
Get to drive on some of nice twisty roads.

Still unable to close the interstate exit box, looked real hard and couldn't find a minus symbol, Guess that feature was left off of my disc.

    BigJohn,

    What version do you have?
It is written on the disk itself.

    John,

On my 2006...the symbol is a little bitty MINUS symbol "INSIDE" a couple of parentheses...on the MAIN screen but located at the lower left corner of the EXIT screen.
It is not real easy to see.
I sometimes have to touch mine TWICE for the exit screen to go away.

Well I think I may have found something. I was driving the other day and noticed a small white rectangular box that seemed to be divided in half by a solid vertical line. It was located in the middle bottom of the map, not the big green exit box. When I touched that box the exit box went away and a small green box appeared in the upper right hand corned that showed the exit right .5 miles. I guess that's the symbol that makes the big annoying box go away.

    Thanks again

    THATS IT...You found it...

That is what I was trying to describe but I was saying a MINUS sign...forgot it was a VERTICAL line not a HORIZONTAL line.

    Re: 09 Nav Disk Update

Every time I start the car the NV system tells me it is activated and do I need directions. The expected answer is yes or no.
I just want to get rid of this anoying request every time I start the car.
The NV Config provides voice prompt but this only turns of the voice prompt for the nav directed drive, not for the initial start up of the car.
Neither the NV nor the destination hart keys or the subsequent soft keys allows me to turn this initial voice prompt off.
    I need help.
If you can, please send it to rolf.e.schneider@siemens.com

    CaddiLukKing and Klinger.

You have probably already did this ... but just in case...
Check to make sure it is set for the right "AREA" of the country.
If not, it will pick the name of the area it is set to.

I just went and changed areas on mine and tried it.
Figured I would be able to do it and then tell y'all all about the great way to do it.

    Didn't work.
Mine does the same thing that yours does.
Shows Hamilton NY and only gives that one choice.
    Bummer...
