    Price negotiation

Are any of the list's Canadian members aware of any special dealer incentives provided to dealers by GM Canada which would help me in dickering on the price of a new DTS?

My local dealer is having an "exclusive private sake for preferred customers" (yeah, I know...) next week and is showing "Massive new vehicle rebates/incentives of up to $4,100" in their advertising. Anybody aware of what they will really listen to because of the extra padding provided by GM?

    Re: Price negotiation

Cadillac generally offers "dealer" cash in addition to "customer" cash. Sometimes it is listed in Edmunds but my own experience from late last year was that was not entirely accurate. (meaning that their was more cash to be had). Solicit some on-line quotes. Internet sales managers (I was one) generally know that to get you in to the dealership that they need to offer you a great price. What they really want is to get you on the lot... so when you go, it is best to know what you are willing to pay.
