Owner's Manual in PDF

Does anyone have the Owner's Manual in electronic format and can post it here? If you are already an owner of the 06 DTS, you can join the GM Owner's Center at www.mygmlink.com using your VIN #. Once logged into the site and have successfully added your DTS, you will have access to download a PDF file of the 06 DTS Owner's manual. I have ordered an 06' DTS Performance with every option including Tehama leather, sunroof, adaptive cruise control, navagation and the rear sunscreen. While I have a VIN number, the system does not recognize it as a sold vehicle. I would really like to get my hands on the Owner's manual to get an early start on operating and understanding all of the vehicles' techno functions. Thanks in advance...

Re: Owner's Manual in PDF

you can add the vehicle w/o the VIN and still recieve the "globe box" features, then add the VIN later once its "officially" yours.

If not this link should help:
https://www.mygmlink.com/pdf/go2cont...ac/2006dts.pdf

just change the name of the .pdf part to see other vehicles manuals too

Plus they have it setup nicely where you can actually click the contents instead of going page to page

Also intresting is the new 2006 DTS once again sports 91 octane if you want full performance from the engine:
"Use premium unleaded gasoline with a posted octane
rating of 91 or higher. You may also use regular
unleaded gasoline rated at 87 octane or higher, but
your vehicle’s acceleration may be slightly reduced, and
you may notice a slight audible knocking noise,
commonly referred to as spark knock. If the octane is
less than 87, you may notice a heavy knocking
noise when you drive. If this occurs, use a gasoline
rated at 87 octane or higher as soon as possible.
Otherwise, you might damage your engine. If you are
using gasoline rated at 87 octane or higher and you hear
heavy knocking, your engine needs service."

So I guess around town use the 87, when on the highway or a trip and you want somemore passing power, use the 91
