NO...the price IS NOT set by the head office.
Look up GMPP at an online search engine....there are a lot of places to buy it.

I found the lowest price I could find on the internet and then took "THAT" price to my dealer.

They matched the online price.
I would rather give my local dealer the money instead of someone I have never seen. But thats just me.

Try Fitchner Chevy in Montana and Caddy Buick Chevy dealer in Ebensburg, Pa. Both offer about 40% off GMPP pricing. They are preferred v endors on some GM forums.

I bought mine from Ebensburg for my CTS. I believe their website is gmoutlet.com. If you call, you will likely talk with dealer owner. Neat guy. Fitchner is also extremely nice; he is vendor on Corvette forum.
