Thank you for the welcome. Mid April I went into the dealership that I have purchased two autos from over the past twelve years. I met with the sales man that I have worked with in the past and asked what was going on. Well, to make a long story short he aims me toward a 2008 DTS. It was love at first sight. And at my age thats saying something. Like I said it is a 2008 DTS with the performance package. It had 5,800 miles on it. I'm still looking in the manual to see how some of the equipment works. So far so good. Reading some of the posts on this board has helped. Thanks again. Bob

If you have question about your new DTS...ask here...we will try to help you.

I don't know how many miles you drive, but the CPO warranty for 6 years or 100,000 miles may be a wise option.
If you didn't get that, you may want to check and see if they will add it to the car.

Jim, I did get the extended warranty. When I saw the electronics that car had on it I figgured it was a wise choice. Bob

Probably a "Very Smart Move."

I bought my 2006 Performance Sedan new...but last Dec, as it was almost at 50,000 miles,(49,900) I bought the GMPP extended warranty. It is good till 104,000 now.
