DTS Navigation question from an apparently stupid person!

RE: 2007 DTS

I have to admit I must be stupid because after hours of reading literally hundreds of posts I can not find a simple answer to this question. Is there a way to enable all the navigation features, like inputting addresses while the vehicle is in motion. So far cutting some green/white wire seems to be the only option but I am so confused at this point.... PLEASE HELP!

Re: DTS Navigation question from an apparently stupid person!

There is a device known as a "LOCKPICK"

I have not used it but that seems like about the only option that I know of.

I have just learned to live with it not working when I am moving.

Thanks Jim

I have run across that option too but just cannot believe there is not an easy way to unlock the thing......LOL problem is most of us are too damned old to have a good hacker among us!

Thank you for the response

Re: DTS Navigation question from an apparently stupid person!

I have spent probably 100 hours reading about various ways to unlock it.

It seems that there are really NOT any good ways to do it.
The LOCKPICK works ok "SOMETIMES" and for the cost and hassle of getting it and then installing it, I finally decided it just wasn't worth it for me.

I either stop...(Darling Wife or myself can always use an extra pit stop)...and enter the address I want, or I just push the Blue OnStar button and ask them how to get to where I want to go.

I like OnStar.

Texas Jim
