Driving a DTS in the northeast(Where it snows)

I love my 2008 performance model....But.......When driving in a snowstorm strange things happen.Your parking assist will go off intermittantly with that annoying beeping.....Your Blind Side Alert will light up in both mirrors from time to time and,did I mention that beeping from the parking assist.

However......We don't have earthquakes, fires, floods(Well maybe some minor ones)poor air quality, mudslides and plummeting realestate values.

What tires are you running and how is your traction? Is anyone running winter tires?

I'm running the all season Bridgestone tires that were factory installed.I have experienced no traction problems at all.My STS with the Goodyear Eagles was very good as well.None of my friends have installed snow tires and no one has mentioned any problems.

I have the original michelins that came with the car and I am really impressed with the traction, this car is surprisingly stable. I think I will keep these as winter wheels and buy some aftermarket 19/20" for the summer.
