**please help asap!!! Dts grille

Hey guys, i just orderd this grille today ( http://www.automotiveconcepts.net/st...oduct_306.html ), (model number 1986-0102-06), and i noticed another site ( http://www.american-auto-accessories...mbly-p-31.html ) (model number 1986-0102-06AC ) has the same grille, but with the option of adaptive cruise control. i have adaptive cruise control on my vehicle, but did not see anything with the grille i purchased from the automotiveconcepts.net site ( 1986-0102-06 ) saying anything about adaptive cruise control on it, please help as i only have a 2-3 days to return, please and thank you!!!!!!!!!!

I would guess that the "AC" added onto the end of the part number, would be for the Adaptive Cruise. I would check with the first place and see if the one you actually ordered is for Adaptive Cruise.

If not... send it back and order the other one.

the one i ordered, does not end in ac, and i do have adaptive control, the thing is they dont mention anything on the site and they even said for all trim levels, i am going to call in the morning tommorow, i dont see what the real difference could be?

This is just my opinion,and I don't know exactly WHAT the difference is... but you can bet that they make the two different model numbers for a good reason...ie... the one WITHOUT "AC" in the part number won't work right on your car.

If you'll notice....Neither if the grills in the links in your OP have the medallion for use with adaptive cruise control(Take a look at yours).......I bought mine from ShopSar and I confirmed the number with the folks at E&G.

The grills for cars with ACC have a hole cut out of the space behind the medallion for the ACC unit to look thru and the mounting for the medallion is different.I hope you get the right one.......

i appreciate all the help guys, i had no choice really but to send it back which cost me almost $250(cdn). they are going to try to get the adaptive cruise control one for me, hopefully they will not charge for shipping back to me...

It's too bad you actually like the mesh grille. If you didn't, you'd have no problems...
