| Re: Tire Flair I'm having some of the same problems. I drive the same route day after day after day after day......
The dealer has rotated and road force balanced the tires and filled with nitrogen. Most of the vibrations have subsided, and the nitrogen has so far eliminated the flat spotting, but I still notice some vibrations above 65 mph, not much but just enough to be noticeable. Also, this car seems to notice pavement imperfections that my '06 Lux III, would glide over, its not jarring or uncomfortable, but the ride is slightly firmer. I attribute this to the MRC, but the tires could still be partly responsible. One last thing, these Bridgestones are noisy. I thought the road roar from the Continentals was unacceptable, but these take it one step further there's always a low grade hum no matter how glassy smooth the pavement may be, which is all the more noticeable considering how quiet the rest of the car is. And according to Bridgestone, these Turanzas have their 5 degree noise reduction technology which is supposed to eliminate said road noises. The dealer left the next step up to me and said they would do whatever I choose. |
