"OLIVE DRAB". do you mean a
DARK GREEN?
That would be very difficult to read.
Mine is kinda whiteish/pale yellow in the daytime with black letters and black with white letters at night.

I really like the NAV system. I don't have a Garmin to compare it to... but I have used mine A LOT, and find it is very accurate. So far, I have no complaints about it except about every six months, it will reboot itself while driving. Must be made by MicroSoft. (laughing) Texas Jim |
Jim thanks for your response. The GM NAV will get you there but it lacks a lot of side street names and POI's that the TomTom has. Regarding your two messages,
I would not say dark green. A picture of my ’07 SRX NAV screen is attached. Took the picture in the garage and the top part is darker than the actual display. The lower half to me is a light olive drab with main streets a dark green and the side streets and street names are black. It is difficult to read when there is any real sunlight. It is set to Daylight and I have run the brightness setting up and down. The night setting has nearly black terrain, green main streets, and white street names. On the highway I find the night setting way too bright to even have the display on with the NAV off and just the XM display on.
