IS XM available on 2006 DTS Lux. I

I recently purchased a 2006 DTS Luxury I with AM/FM 6CD changer, but no XM. The radio has a "CAT" button and dashes on the preset buttons. Presumably it is "XM ready". What must I do to get XM service in the existing radio? I do not want an aftermarkete XM set up! All comments would be most appreciated.

Give them a call. BE SURE to ask for the $77 dollar a year special.

Not sure if it's available, but I wish I knew about the "$77 Special. I am paying about twice that amount.

Ditto for me-

TX Jim- is there a difference in the product offering for the "special"? Thanks!

Press the "band" button, and the radio will switch between AM, FM, and XM. When XM shows in the display, tune to channel 1 which will dispaly the radio ID#. Make sure the car is sitting outside with no obstruction to block the signal to the radio, leave the radio turned on, call XM, give them the radio ID#, and after about 10-20 minutes, XM Radio will be active in your car.

Edit, change radio channel from 1 to 0
