I've noticed that the DTS section has been slower than the rest of the site in general. I think we can conclude that being based on an older platform, GM worked out most of the bugs and most customers expectations have been met.
This is part of it. Also, DTS buyers are more mature (and I'm not speaking age wise either) than most other buyers, and as such we are more secure in our persons personally, professionally, and financially and aren't out to prove anything to anyone. We tend to be at the stage of pleasing ourselves first rather than in the mindset of always keeping up with the Joneses, the Smiths, the Johnsons....if we were still in that mindset, we'd be driving a Lexus or a BMW.
But, this does not stop me from complaining about certain inadequacies I find in my current DTS as compared to previous DeVilles I've owned (and Fleetwoods before them). Rather than complaining ad nauseum on an internet forum, I continue to let the proper people at the dealer and at corporate Cadillac know of my displeasure at the removal of features which had been available for years prior.
Sorry friends, but it largely has to do with the DTS demographic chronologically speaking IMO. You all are young at heart and in tune with computers, technology, and the internet. My 75+ year old neighbors with new DTSs are not - and I have many. They also do not believe in DVD players or cell phones to a large extent. There, this ought to generate some posts/forum action for ya.

That's a large part of it.
But, then again, I'm 35 years younger than those you mention!
